My clitoral hood is very big too. Wide, and thick. I still shave though. What is it about your hood that makes you not be able to shave? Is it just that you prefer it be covered so its not as visible? And if you dont mind my asking... are your lips long too? For me, i think the reason my vulva is so prominent is bc my hood is so wide and so long. If it werent for the hood, my labia would be mostly inside of my labia majora and probably wouldnt stick that far out.. If your girlfriend prefers shaved pussies, I would at least try it. I know what you mean about trying to shave around your hood, but for me, when im shaving the hair above the hood, I usually grab my lips while their together, and pull them down then shave that area.. that way, you get in between any folds without knicking yourself with the razor. My advice, shave and see how she likes it... You never know, you might like it. I think oral feels better when im freshly shaved. However, the next day or two my skin is sometimes sensitive from the shaving and oral can hurt. Just try it and see what works best for you...

Finally I shaved the entire area beautifully. It took me good 30min, so hard to do it my own because I have lots of hair in the hood area. The way you have said to pull the lips down. It worked.
