You are 20?  Defining your sexuality by something somebody said/did?  (And, obviously a jerk...perhaps HE was having trouble with his own equipment and was just blaming you for it.)  

I guess it's okay to have surgery if YOU want it but NOT for any reasons you stated.  Nobody fills out a "request form" for their body parts...we all get ONE body.  It's up to you to make friends with it.

Like some guys are bent.  Or...whatever.  Penises come in a variety of colors and shapes and sizes.  Would YOU ever think of telling a guy that he is "defective" or undesirable because he had sagging balls or was bent left of right or...WHATEVER?  

Tell any jerk to hit the road who even says such cruel things.  Or...if you are like...I have little thin wirey lips (as in mouth).  My GYN happened to ask me about how I felt about "big lips" when he saw me reading some mindless "fashion magazine" suggesting a "fix".  I laughed at him and just said..."Hey!  When God told me to get in line for big Angelina Jolie lips I thought he was talking about the ones on my face!"

I am grateful for the excellent working equipment I received and it makes me very happy, thank you!  

There IS a lid for every pot!  And when you search for a new one you should consider the guy's point of view allright and be grateful he revealed himself before you wasted years and years with a jerk like that.  

Why don't you wait until...say 30...to re-visit this decision of needing to be "fixed"?  What may seem to be important now is like...so very petty in the grander scheme of things.  Money would be better spent with a therapist to teach you to love and respect yourself and body.

I just want to say that obviously its your decision to have the surgery or not but i do want to advise you to wait a few years before you make a decision. I just turned 22 and the way I view my own body now versus 2-3 years ago is drastically different. I too have very large labia and I have to admit, I still sometimes  have days where I think the same way  about them as you do, but then i go to this website or talk to my friend(with benefits) who happens to love my labia to give myself a confidence boost. When i was younger, i desperately wanted the surgery. I went as far as sending my pictures to and having a phone consult with a now famous cosmetic surgeon. But then it occured to me that everyone is different. When i was younger, i think the main reason that i wanted so bad to be "normal" was because i didnt know that there were other women out there like me.. so i felt deformed. Seeing this website let me know that it is common.. as i stated in another post on this website.. "large labia are common enough to make you feel "normal" and yet rare enough to feel blessed to have them".  I know sometimes they can be a pain in the ass.. they can be painful, and uncomfortable, and you always have to wonder what a sex partner will think, or even anyone who may see them in your bathing suit or while changing clothes or whatever.. There are parts of having big labia that really do make you feel like youve gipped by God sometimes.. so i do understand where you're coming from. But the truth is... there is real sex appeal to having big labia.. for both you and for your partner..
