Getting women comfortable with their labia

Interesting site, I must say. I'm a nude photographer, so I've been fortunate enough to see a wide range of different labia shapes and sizes, but my best moment came a long time ago with a 16 year-old girlfriend who was a virgin and hadn't let anyone see her before. I had no idea why she was nervous about taking off her panties, but attributed it to normal shyness. When I saw her long blossoming labia, I said, "Oh, butterfly wings!" and dove in. After she had an orgasm, we chatted a bit and she told me how relieved she was that I didn't recoil or even seem surprised by her appearance "down there".
She had shown her sister and mother when she first developed them, and they were absurdly unhelpful- her mother suggested that perhaps her womb had fallen! She showed her doctor, but didn't have the nerve to ask any questions, and her doctor of course didn't comment, as they aren't that unusual. I told her probably 1 in 10 women have developed labia that isn't "the norm" and it's all equally wonderful to most men.
I've seen ignorant vicious comments on-line from young guys who obviously have no idea the range that vulvae come in (or don't want to know), and I shudder to think of any self conscious virgins reading that crap and taking it to heart. Be proud of the shape and don't think about plastic surgery- it will kill sensation and mutilate something that's perfect the way it is. Several of my most beautiful models had 'butterfly wings'- in fact, I could send a few pics for your gallery if you wanted. Keep up the good work!

I'm sorry i have long flaps and i think they are ugly and disgusting - if i were a guy i would feel sick at the sight of them. i don't know why i couldn't have been born with normal size flaps. i for one would have surgery if i could afford it.
