Isn't it all just smoke and mirrors?

As with a lot of women on this board, I've been ashamed of my extra large lips ever since my school hood days.  I loved dance classes in school, but when it came time to wears tights, nothing I did could hide my large lips.  Even if I were successful, you could tell I padded the area, which was just as noticeable.  As a result, I gave up dancing, which was something I always loved.  While I understand other women's comments about how the beautiful the photos looks, I can't help believing the photos look great because the women are professional models and the photos were taken by professional photographers.  I've looked at my large lips in the mirror and even took photos of them.  I can honestly say I don't look like any of the women photographed here.  Again, professional models and photographers can make anything and anyone look good.  What I would like to see is everyday women photographed by themselves, friends or significant others, anyone except a professional photographer to see if large lips are really sexy or is it just smoke and mirrors.  In fact, if anyone sends me photos of themselves, I will do the same.  Kinda like the show me yours and I'll show you mine game and we can give each other our honest opinions.  I guess I'm just searching for truth.
