Don't do the labiaplasty! There will be a guy in your life that will love you just the way you are!

At the age of eleven I knew I was different. I was ashamed and hid even from my own mother as my labia decided that it was "time to grow!" and even now at the age of fifteen, I have been sexually degraded and ridiculed by some of my closest friends and intimate partners. Yes I am only fifteen, but I think that I have the right to be on this site because I too have excess labia minora. But I am now with a guy who tells me that it is unique and beautiful in every way, and that he loves my labia just as much as he loves me. I have labiaplasty scheduled in only a month and I am scared to death. I have been in and out of psychiatric hospitals due to my deep self hatred because of my labia. But one day I decided that instead of looking up the so called "perfect" labia, I would take a dare and look up labia like mine. In finding this site I realize that it is ok to be different. Well then again 80 percent of women have "extra skin" and only twenty percent have what we have falsley been led to believe was normal labia. I am sick and tired of hiding and punishing myself in shame! And I am fed up with the jokes people my age make about large labia. Any other female reading this I want you to feel like there is nothing wrong with you, you're just as beautiful and sexy as someone with little labia. It is a natural thing and now I think it's time to turn the tables and instead of us being the butt end of the joke, we should be the ones making the jokes about women with small labia. I am now rethinking labiaplasty, because everyone is perfect just the way they are and nobody should change themselves out of shame.
