My friend, an OB-GYN tells me that it is not uncommon in the U.S. for the immigrant parents of teenage girls to send the girl back home to the mother country to be "circumcised". Do we have any laws that would prosecute parents who do this to their female children even if done outside of the U.S? As a male who loves women, I find it amazing that one would want to mutilate beautiful female genitalia and make the act of sex unpleasurable for one's partner.
