Lovely surprise for me and my lips!

This website is most certainly a pleasant surprise for me. I never expected that any man or woman would find my full lips to be so beautiful.  
When I was in high school, I was always teased because I had very pale skin and long, red, curly hair. My cheeks would turn pink whenever someone would taunt me by calling me "snow-white" or "Ann-of-Green-Gables".  
Then, in later years, when I had my first sexual encounter with a boy, he was surprised and unaware that women could/do have large, pink, sensitive labia minora. He told me that I was abnormal...
From that day on, I vowed that I would not allow a man to see or feel my lips without REALLY trusting him.  
...However, on the flip side, I secretly embraced and loved my labia, because they were incredibly sensitive and velvety soft for me to touch... and touching them made me feel so good. For a while, I thought having supple labia was a punishment/result for being so sexual.
I really didn't know what a woman's vulva should look like. I am semi-bisexual (still learning and exploring), but all the women I have been with have all exhibited the same 'stereotypical' small labia minora lips that I see in the pornography movies.  
Again, as a woman, I thoroughly enjoy my lips...they allow me to have pleasure and organism on such a extraordinary level, but I was still self-conscious about my labia minora. I sought help on the internet, trying to find out if my pink, 13 cm (spread wide open) labia minora were "normal". What I found were a lot of medical sights devoted to "fixing" my problem....then I found this site.
Although I have known for quite some time that my husband loves to suck and fuck my lush lips, I did not know if that was the majority consensus...until I found this site. I was seriously considering undergoing a surgical procedure to reduce the volume and size of my labia (against my husbands wishes, of course). Now I am content and excited about my lovely full, pink lips. Thank you!
